I'm a musician living in the the South West of England and after much head scratching have decided to build my music studio using Straw Bales as a building material. This site will track the build and offer ideas, insights and technology to anyone else thinking about setting out on a similar adventure.

I've never built anything in my life before - although putting up shelves and kitchen units has given me a few DIY skills. I've been on a few courses with Barbara Jones (see links) found a friendly architect, the digger's arrived . . . so here we go!
